『#アド・アストラ』　〜エイリアンの正体に迫る……〜 Is #AdAstra Really a Sci-Fi Human Drama? — Searching for the Truth About the Aliens

“Per aspera ad astra.” “Per aspera ad astra.”Through hardships, to the stars. Hey, I’m Mako — your movie podcast host.Today’s pick:Ad Astra, starring Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones.Okay, let me get this off my chest first:Whoever called this an “action blockbuster” in the promo materials — please turn yourself in.Everyone else might forgive you. I won’t.You hear “space,” “Brad Pitt,” “alien life,” and your brain naturally expects a certain kind of movie, right? But when you actually watch it...It’s quiet. Introspective. A human drama dressed up in sci-fi.No wonder reviews were all over the place. But if you go in knowing that, and really watch closely — it hits differently. At its heart, this film is about how we relate to others.Father and son.The deep, unspoken rifts in communication. The long journey of facing one’s own inner universe. There are so many clues scattered throughout Ad Astra. When you watch it, I’d invite you to explore not just the outer space on-screen — but the space within yourself.#AdAstra#BradPitt#TommyLeeJones#SciFiHumanDrama#MovieTalk#ReelPalーーーHosted by Mako (@_macobana), this podcast is a spin-off of the main channel Swamp in Your Pocket (#ポケ沼).#YomoyamaKobanashi (#まこばな) is where all the movie talk that didn’t fit before finally finds its home.New episodes drop weekly or biweekly.Share your thoughts with #ReelPal / #リルパル — we might feature your tweet on the show!Suggest a film or theme here:👉 https://forms.gle/4PT2GBA7TY8vAoCx7Want to reach out directly?📩 [email protected] for listening — and take care out there in the void.
