Covid has turned her life upside down, cancelling her year abroad in China and trapping her in the UK, unable to go back to Latvia. She has moved in with her boyfriend creating The Travel Story Society, a blog and podcast that aims to connect people through their love of travel during these difficult times. She has written a blog on the website called ‘Trapped in the UK,’ where she explains what it is like to be trapped in a country she doesn’t belong to.
