SFS Minute 1026: Responsibilities

This week, we are talking about what we can do with the incredible freedom that we have. Already this week, we've talked about the fact that freedom gives us great choices, but with those choices comes something else: a double-edged sword. I will tell you what I mean right after this. The choices that freedom gives us are absolutely wonderful, but there is something else we must consider. That is responsibility. The two frequently, actually always, go together, and we must take responsibility for all parts of our success, our happiness, our failures, and our sadness because we caused them. That is one of the things that is so hard about great freedom, that we must accept responsibility for all of our successes and failures. But it makes the successes so much better, of course. It makes the failures a lot worse, but accept the responsibility, and you'll be so much happier.
