SFS Minute 1066: Find a Problem

This week, I want to talk about the 5 steps to become an entrepreneur. I'm gonna walk through the entire cycle, and if you do these things, by the end of the week, you could have an idea for a real business. I'll tell you the 1st step right after this. The place we're going to start might surprise you. It's not with a business idea. Instead, we're going to start with a problem. People spend way too much time trying to think of a business. What company should I start? What product should I invent? What's the next great idea? Don't do that. Look for a problem. Find something that people hate doing, something that takes too long, something that's not too expensive, not too complicated, and do that for people around your area. It's really kind of simple. Whatever people will pay to make that problem go away is what you should do.
