SFS Minute 930: Show up

This week, I want to talk about things that professionals do differently from amateurs, and this will apply to all aspects of your life: professionally, personally, your relationships, absolutely everything. I'm going to introduce five ideas this week that professionals do differently. You can keep score during the week and see how many of them apply to you. It'll be very interesting to give yourself a score at the end of the week. I'll tell you the first thing that professionals do right after this. One thing that professionals do differently from amateurs is that professionals show up when they say they will, and they call when they say they will. They write the paper and turn it in when they say they will. They do everything on time with predictability. That way, people can depend on you. Uncertainty disappears around you.
