SFS Minute 933: Take Responsibility

This week, we are talking about the difference between professionals and amateurs. I'm introducing five traits of professionals, and I want you to give yourself a score at the end of the week to see how many of them you are already doing. It's very important that you understand where you currently are and what you need to work on. I'll share another professional trait right after this. Mistakes happen in business and in our personal lives all of the time. We really can't eliminate that. We can, though, change how we respond when something bad happens. Mistakes happen. Do you take ownership immediately? Do you immediately accept that you have made a mistake and assume responsibility and then acknowledge that you have learned a lesson? Customers and partners respect when you take ownership more than perfection.
