from That Sober Guy Podcast · host Shane Ramer
Lou Redmond is a motivational messenger on a mission to show people the greatness they have within them. He is a graduate of Penn State University. After graduating Lou moved to San Diego to explore a career in the golf industry. It was there that his alcohol abuse accelerated which eventually led him to the rave scene. Ecstasy began to become a regular occurrence along with chasing the party high. After a chance encounter meeting with a group of entrepreneurs, Lou eventually had a spiritual awakening and decided to quit drinking and partying, and quit his job to live out his passion of inspiring others. He's written a book about letting go of drug & alcohol addiction and finding his life's purpose. He is now an inspirational speaker and also runs meditation groups aimed to help people tap into their inner guidance and find their purpose. Lou has been clean and sober for 2 years. In this episode we discuss finding your purpose, changing routines, losing old friends, college drinking, new relationships, meditation, and being proud to be sober.
