SGR Ep150 - If You Want to Change the World, You Gotta Make Your Bed | Todd Stumbo

from That Sober Guy Podcast · host Shane Ramer

Todd Stumbo comes from a good family. But as he made his way through life, he found himself struggling with emotional emptiness and a lack of connection, which led to a fight for his life with addiction.Through his own journey and struggles, Todd fought his way through the ups and downs of addiction, recovery, fatherhood, marriage, and business. He also later found out that he possessed a deep passion to help others, which eventually led him to work with others in recovery. Today, Todd has worked in the field of addiction treatment for over ten years. He is currently CEO at Blue Ridge Mountain in Georgia. Todd is a Certified Addiction Counselor, Certified Anger Management Specialist, and Relapse Prevention Specialist. Todd also brings personal recovery experience to his clinical leadership, and is an avid sportsman. His passion for his recovery and for his daughters shines through in our conversation. When I first met Todd, I could tell he was a solid dude right away. He had a firm handshake, was soft spoken, and looked me in the eye. I think its safe to say that Todd is a mans man, but he is not afraid to show vulnerability or emotion. We had a great conversation, and I was honored to have met Todd and help share some of his story.
