Koorosh Rassekh is an Addiction Counselor specializing in substance use, recovery, teen addiction, mindfulness, therapy, psychology and overdose. Rassekh founded Evo, an outpatient treatment program in Venice, California. In addition to Koorosh's expertise in the field of addiction, he also shares some of his personal story about moving to America at 10 years old as an immigrant from Iran. As Koorosh struggled to fit in, he found peace in athletics and alcohol, which later led to drug addiction. As he navigated his way through the challenges of addiction, he soon found the courage to leave this way of life and dedicate his life to helping others caught in the struggle.
