Shachar Radin on how to build a demand generation machine

from This Much I Know - The Seedcamp Podcast · host Carlos Espinal

On the afternoons of 17th & 24th of September, we brought early-stage marketers from the Seedcamp Nation together for one of our favourite events of the year - the Seedcamp Marketing Summit. Attended by over 80 people we delved into the hottest topics cropping up across our portfolio companies' marketing teams: from building a demand generation machine to PR for startups and whether or not PR agencies provide any benefits at an early stage - it was a jam-packed program! Our Head of Marketing and MC, Natasha Lytton, guided us through it all. Huge thanks to all the fantastic people who contributed to this virtual experience, including portfolio company speakers: Andy Shovel (CEO @This), John May (Head of Demand Generation @re:ceeve), Will Allen-Mersh (Partner @Spill), Anthony Rose (CEO @SeedLegals) and Steffen Hedebrandt (Co-founder @Dreamdata). Our amazing keynote speakers: Shachar Radin (CMO @Hubble), Meagan Healey (Brand & Comms Director @Attest), Andy Davis (Head of Demand Generation @Attest), Chris Seigel (Senior Director, Direct to Consumer @Harrys), Sally Higgin(Marketing & Comms Director @Harrys), Darryl Sparey (Managing Director @Hard Numbers), Ashley Friedlein (CEO @Guild) and Kate Adams (Vice President of Marketing @Drift). Finally, thank you to our two amazing fireside speakers: Ines Ures (NED, ex-CMO Deliveroo, & ex-CCO Treatwell) and Chad West (Director, Global Marketing & Communications @Revolut). A huge effort by all to make sure this event translated across well into virtual!
