Shake It Up Baby!

“Shake It Up Baby!” is a Dharma talk and brief guided meditation that explores the Sīla section of the Eightfold Path (Wise Speech, Wise Action, and Wise Livelihood) and how ethical living becomes a radical act of belonging. We ask the question: How do I live like it matters that I’m here? And then we shake up our habits, voices, and our choices! This is a continuation of the series we’ve been doing for a few weeks now. There’s a little Ferris Bueller. A little heart. A lot of integrity. And a whole lot of encouragement. I hope you enjoy! And I’ve been doing these podcast posts for a couple of years almost. I’ve never spoiled the easter egg hiding at the end of these episodes, but since tonight invokes Ferris Bueller, I’ll tell you that there’s always been a special Ferris inspired ending if you stay all the way to the end.  It mixes Ferris’ wisdom, and the Buddha’s, for a little light hearted humor!
