Shally Shuttle Helping Shallotte and Maybe Brunswick County

Carolina Buzz rode on the Shally Shuttle with Mayor Walt Eccard and some residents to see what it's all about. The transit bus offers to residents who have mobility problems to go shopping, have a bite to eat, and get to their doctors' appointments -- at no cost. It makes 9 stops an hour from 9 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday. And they hope to be expanding the service. Plus, what's happening in Shallotte could be happening in other parts of Brunswick County.
