落實食農教育，不只是觀念推廣，更重要的是讓人真實的踏在這片土地上，觀察植物的生長、除草施肥、最後親手採摘下成為食物；除了對食物有更深的了解之外，更重要的是，會懂得更珍惜食物。復興區因為有豐富的自然資源及海拔樣態，一年四季都有適合不同節令的作物在此生長，是桃園重要的食物寶庫，而「復興食農」由一群熱愛土地及作物的青年組成，以食農教育推廣為核心，藉由務農課程或是農場參訪等內容，連結北橫地區的校園以及農家，持續傳遞食與土地、食與生活、食與育樂等理念。
