Shannon Man Takes On Melbourne Half Marathon To Support Carrigoran Dementia Unit

A Shannon man living in Australia is combining a personal challenge with a heartfelt cause.     Jack Lynch will take on the Melbourne Half Marathon this month to raise funds for St Teresa's Dementia Unit at Carrigoran Nursing Home in County Clare, inspired by the care his grandmother has received since being diagnosed with dementia.     Jack hopes his fundraiser will give something back to the staff who support residents every day with compassion, dignity and respect.     He joined Alan Morrissey from Melbourne to tell us more.
