Shannon Slaughter - "Sometimes"

Co-written with Alabama songwriter Larry Leach, Shannon Slaughter’s “Sometimes” examines the constant tension between self-reliance and faith. The lyrics trace a candid cycle of striving, falling short, and walking alone before ultimately turning back to grace. Through these admitted vulnerabilities, the track finds quiet assurance in the promise of being lifted back up.
