Sharing what you do really well and how you can help people. Here's the thing though....as easy as it sounds....it's kinda hard to do. Take a listen in this week's video. I had an OT several years ago tell me that other CHT's held back when training her and that when she becomes a CHT, she's not going to share what she does to ensure here own job security. Here's the thing though...that might help you in the short run....but that scarcity mindset doesn't help you in the long run. Nor will it help you in business. Information and education is the future and how most small businesses such as us OT professionals will be able to grow. Having that abundant mindset will separate you from other businesses in your local area. I didn't think it was true when I started my clinic....but I started sharing and I had MORE patients from it. When I started my online business, the more I shared, the more I made. It's crazy but true. So if there's anything I can share from my experiences is that your mindset and how you choose to move forward will determine how much you make in 2024.
