Sharks eagerly awaiting Super Rugby

from Rugby Hosted by SABC Sport

Sharks hooker Franco Marais believes the focus on rugby skills and shorter training sessions during their preseason has been beneficial for the players. Marais says there is a renewed spirit in the camp and they gain both in fitness and skills ahead of the Super Rugby season. As they are looking forward to their preseason friendlies starting with a match against the Bulls at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane next weekend, he believes that the ideal preparation prior to starting the season will be the two warm-up matches they will be involved in.
