Sharon Catherine Brown on "The Notebook" Musical | Midday Break Room w/ Tiffany Bacon - 7.16.26

Sharon Catherine Brown is a trailblazing Broadway actress whose groundbreaking career has helped pave the way for generations of Black performers in musical theatre. Sharon will be starring in the musical, The Notebook, presented by Ensemble Arts Philly and The Shubert Organization. It will make its Philadelphia debut at the Academy of Music from July 21-August 2, 2026. Based on the best-selling novel that inspired the iconic film, THE NOTEBOOK tells the story of Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, who share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. Sharon plays the role of Older Allie in the musical. Sharon joined the show to talk about her role in the musical, The Notebook, which will be on display at The Academy of Music in Philadelphia.
