SHARPENING SOMEONE’S LIFE Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Have you ever had moments in life when a single conversation changed the entire direction of your life or maybe someone else’s day. A kind word, a reminder of God’s truth, a quiet prayer, or simply listening to someone with compassion can become the very thing God uses to strengthen them. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us this morning that none of us were ever meant to walk through life alone. God often uses people to help shape, strengthen, and encourage one another.
