Shaun Banks – I Am Defense – Ep140

Shaun is a global youth development specialist, who has embraced challenges and overcome social andeconomic obstacles to become an expert in the youth development field and the dedicated role model that he is today. Domestic violence, homelessness, gang violence and bullying shaped his future in an amazing and mostunexpected way. As a child he and his family suffered great tragedies due to domestic violence. The deaths and near deaths of close family members became a motivating factor for him growing up. He opened the “I AM Defense Institute” to honor his loved ones. He has taught martial arts for the last 20 years and has had several successful after school programs in the Atlanta area. He has been called the “Tony Robbins of Youth Development”.
