Shawlands Academy podcast

from Southside Media · host Southside Media

On 12 June students from Shawlands Academy organised a special eco-conference to celebrate the work of a three-year project partnering them with schools in Sweden, France and Cyprus. The Comenius project was sponsored by the European Union and was called "How to be an active citizen in a clean Europe". This is the final year of the project but the students' work continues. They want to show their commitment to environmental awareness by following the eco-school programme. The Shawlands Academy project has been widely reported on TV and press - including the G41 newspaper - and has won five accolades including an international award for European languages.
