Shawn Brody: Head of Client Lifecycle Management

Episode Guest: Shawn Brody  Shawn Brody is a Park Slope native – born and raised in Park Slope. She went away to college – University of Wisconsin, Madison but NYC was in her heart and moved back to NYC after graduating. Since graduating she found herself in the finance community. She spent most of her career at Goldman Sachs where she found her niche becoming a senior female leader and role model to other females in finance. She spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs and survived two maternity leaves (and a few market crashes in between). She joined a FinTech firm (founded by Goldman) to find a better work/life balance. On the side she's a very active parent within the Park Slope Community. Shortly after the birth of each of her kids she single handedly formed new mom's groups for each child as an outlet (each group used to meet once a week in prospect park). She now is head of her block association, FT mom and working professional who tries to be an active participant in both her career and personal life. Her and her husband, Andy, have been married for 15 years and have chosen Park Slope (Windsor Terrace) to raise their two boys (Alex who is now 10 and Evan who is now 8).
