Shawn Copeland

Shawn Copeland is entering his 19th year in education and coaching.  He is currently the Head Varsity Football Coach at Verrado High School in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona.  After spending 11 years coaching and teaching in the Dallas area of Texas, he moved to Phoenix to help plant a church.  What was a one year commitment to helping, turned into a place they have called home for the past 7 years.  In 2012, he created a character curriculum that was specifically written for high school athletes called Character Wins.  Character Wins has been used by over 25,000 athletes across 41 states.  Shawn hopes to not only influence those athletes he coaches, but to give other coaches a tool to do the same.   www.characterwins.org Learn more about your ad choices.
