He decided to enlist in the full-time Navy and, after his "sentence" as he mistakenly said, he decided to join the Pima County Sheriff's Department after a ride along experience convinced him this was the profession for him...He spent years on the Search and Rescue Unit, Mental Health Support Unit and ultimately became a Detective where he worked hand in hand with a future Choir Practice guest, Corrections Lt.
