I had the privilege and honor of sitting down with Shawn Geris a 20 yr police constable working  with our friends to the north in Toronto Canada. A skilled martial artist, wrestling, BJJ Black belt, use of force instructor , and overall bad ass.  The humblest of men, he's impacting the community in ways many of us have forgotten. He is addressing the at risk youth community in trying to keep them from entering the gang lifestyle while assisting those that are in by showing them a better life's path. We discussed training, the importance of caring and his work with the Engage416 project. We also talked about the role his dad ( 3X Olympic wrestler) played in shaping and developing his character.
