She Dies Tomorrow, Makes Us Feel Things

from Middle of the Row · host Zac Oldenburg, Lauren Heimbaugh, Ben Grigsby

A new release this week, this time from Neon and writer/director Amy Seimetz, She Dies Tomorrow. This black comedy/thriller thing is one of my favorite films of the year (knocked from the top spot since we recorded), but the rest of the crew isn’t quite as one over. Yet we agree on most of the film’s strengths. I don’t know... It feels like Ben and Lauren wanted something the film wasn’t trying to be, while Jon and I were a bit more on the film’s wavelength, though he was often bored by it. Either way, a great episode where we really dive into the film with some crazy theories and praise a plenty, even from the people who couldn’t recommend it to anyone but me. Download. Listen.
