She Faked a Pregnancy, Then K*lled for a Baby.. - "Maternal Instinct" TAYLOR PARKER

In October 2020, Taylor Parker murdered 21-year-old Reagan Simmons-Hancock, who was 35 weeks pregnant, and removed her unborn daughter, Braxlynn, in an attempt to continue an elaborate fake pregnancy. Parker had spent months deceiving her boyfriend, family, and community with a prosthetic stomach, fabricated medical appointments, staged ultrasounds, and a gender-reveal celebration. A Texas jury convicted her of capital murder in 2022 and sentenced her to death. Her conviction and sentence were upheld by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals in November 2025.In this episode of You Can’t Unhear, we examine the jail calls Parker made to her mother, the testimony surrounding her medical history and lifelong deception, the letters she wrote while awaiting trial, and the evidence prosecutors used to argue that she remained manipulative and showed little remorse. We also separate verified court evidence from family disputes and claims amplified after Netflix’s Maternal Instinct.
