She is a River by Norman Riles

Written by Ronald Allen Bell and G-Dawg Trading~  she is a river and I was a vein. one of eight from her waters,  four sons and four daughters,  which now split to new veins which flow in her name.  she taught me how to run into the sea. though the mad beaver,  built damns to try keep her, she kept to her roll,  broke through, made me believe.  She is the reason my waters are clean. I ran through venal passes, which led to still patches, her outlets splashed poison out with erudition's reprieve.  Her influence outpours into many a flume.  has a kind disposition,  her tides ever so glisten,  sweet waters pour upon bushy soils,  and decorous life blooms.  Never could all she's done I retrocede. From her own path she's broken, to help channels reopen,  in times so overwrought with pain,  I thought concede.  Never will I take for granted her piety. As is seen in many others,  my sisters and brothers,  reflections of her selfish and magnanimous being.  The sun will one day lift her waters up high.  It will be hard to move on,  however after she's gone,  she will still love and guide,  any pain felt inside,  will be washed away clean as she rains from the sky.
