She Shall Be Praised

In this sermon, the true source of praise for a mother is explored, contrasting worldly recognition with divine approval. It highlights that external beauty, wealth, public recognition, and popularity are deceitful and vain, not the foundation for genuine commendation. Instead, the message emphasizes that true praise is found where God's favor resides, urging listeners to prioritize what God values over the transient admiration of men. The message delves into the characteristics of a virtuous woman, as exemplified by figures like Susanna Wesley and the description in Proverbs 31. It underscores that her profound fear of the Lord and faithful devotion to her family are the true sources of her nobility and influence. The sermon illustrates how such a woman dedicates her life to God, diligently manages her household, protects her family, and serves others, all driven by an inward, genuine relationship with God. Ultimately, this message asserts that greatness in God's eyes is not achieved through outward performance or seeking human applause, but through humble service motivated by love for God. It encourages listeners to cultivate an inner life focused on pleasing the Lord, trusting that God will then enable them to make an eternal impact on others. The message concludes by celebrating mothers who sacrifice and prioritize God first, recognizing that their love for the Lord fuels their impactful actions and earns them true praise.
