Shed Hunting, Work Ethic & Mentors

On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan is joined by Bob Polanic to discuss where they got their work ethic from, who they consider their mentors, and others who impacted their life.They kick off the episode with a discussion on shed hunting and their opinions about if it causes additional pressure to the deer heard. This time of year can be some somewhat stressful if the animals are experiencing a harsh winter.  But, as Dan explains, harsh winters seen to bee the best years to shed hunt.Then the topic transitions to a more serious tone when Bob and Dan talk about those who have impacted their life. They talk in depth who they got their work ethic from, and key individuals who molded them when they were young. These people, in their own way, mentored Dan and Bob and along with learning from failure, made them who they are today.The episode winds down when the guys talk specifically about hunting mentors and who they look up to in the hunting community.
