Sheep Boy

from Wax Lyrical · host FBi Radio

In episode two, Algal is joined by artist and thinker, Sheep Boy. Sometimes soothing, other times probing, Sheep Boy spins us an intimate sound-weave. In this mix, old memories blend with present feelings. A mother's song, played to drowse her restless daughter merges with an endless conversation about crash bandicoot. We hear a stripper's soliloquy, detailing the delicate balance of duty between seductive dancer and psychologist. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

TomCattt Thomas Patton From the beginning music has prowled with accordion lessons at a young age, followed by sax, blues harp and more recently piano, vocals, song writing and recording. Thomas Patton (AKA TomCattt) credits his mother for his stage name "TomCattt” as she was big on nick names for those she held close to her heart. TomCattt's music is best described as easy listening and sometimes retro, yet with a contemporary mix and feel. Accompanied by the creative tracks of a number of gifted musicians, his first album Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa inspires imagination and finds a way to impress with a unique vocal sound, compelling harmony and gripping melody. Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa was released on June 1st, 2013 and all are invited to Soundcloud, Bandcamp, ReverbNation and Cdbaby where "A Question" is free download and to enjoy TomCattt's website tomcattt.com. Tabletop Genesis Tabletop Genesis Welcome to Tabletop Genesis, where you will know what it means to be a lamb lying down beyond the silver rainbow while Duke dances on a volcano. Actually it's just a few friends sitting around a table talking about their favorite band Genesis, but it promises to be as equally silly and surreal. Join your hosts Simon Godfrey, Stacy Godfrey, Mike Lord, Eli Noetinger, and Tom Roche as they wax poetic on everything Genesis - from the songs to the tours to the evolution of Mike Rutherford's facial hair.
