Shelley Regner discusses Pitch Perfect 2 on iTalk Movies

iTalk movies is a long-form interview series featuring leading members of the film community. In this episode, host Marielou Mandl & Pegah Rad interview Shelley Regner in studio on the Popcorn Talk Network. Shelley Anne Regner (born December 21, 1989) is an American actress and singer known for her role as Ashley in the musical films Pitch Perfect (2012) and its sequel Pitch Perfect 2 (2015). Regner was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area, the daughter of Jan and Donald Regner, a businessman. She has a sister, Lauren Regner, that is also a performer. She is a graduate of Parkview Baptist High School, and the Louisiana State University with a degree in theatre. In college she was a member of a sorority. In Baton Rouge she has performed at the Theatre Baton Rouge in productions of Rent as Maureen and The Producers. While a student as LSU she performed in the musical Spring Awakening.
