Shelley Stravitz, Parents as Partners 5/24/22

Shelley Stravitz, PhD, is the parent of two sons, the younger of whom acquired an autism diagnosis as a toddler, very early in the autism epidemic. She consulted with the late renowned psychiatrist, Stanley Greenspan, who guided her son's recovery. His FloorTime program was SO beneficial that she felt compelled to share her knowlege to help other families, and eventually obtain a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. She now consults to develop opportunities that promote optimal autism outcomes for all ages. She also conducts trainings for schools and clinics on using a multi-disciplinary, developmental approach.
