Shepherd Leaders

In the month of January, we’ll be focusing on the biblical theme of leadership, with the hopes that we might all aspire to greater leadership. Our leadership needs to be rooted in God’s own leadership of his people. Here in week two we see how God provides under shepherds over his flock, called elders. Elders are to shepherd the flock (know, lead, protect & feed) willingly, eagerly, and by example. The flock follows the shepherd. But everyone - shepherd and flock alike - need humility and God’s grace.
