Sherni - A Miniature Review
from Audio Shorts Hosted by augeo
Sherni - A Miniature Review Ever wondered how our endangered forests and species are protected while keeping the community safe as well? Sherni is just the movie that brings out the intricacies between the forest department, politicians, and the local community, with a tadka of the long-lost legacy of private hunters and gender bias. Led by Vidya Balan, the movie shows us how the forest department hunts for the predator lioness who is on a rampage against the villagers. The movie beautifully weaves all the themes together, and begs you to question your allegiances, especially as an environmentalist - would you side with villagers who are losing their loved ones or with the lioness whose species is endangered? If you’re someone who is into infotainment films, this one is a must-watch. But if you’re into brainless comedy and mega-entertainment films, avoid watching this.
