She’s Alive! Revisiting Weird Science (1985)

This week we’re heading back almost 40 years to hang out with a couple of horny, nerdy guys back in 1985. This modern day retelling of Frankenstein stars Anthony Michael Hall and Gary Ilan Mitchell-Smith as they decide to create their own girlfriend since their social status makes them social pariahs. Weird Science is a realistic look at what two motivated guys could accomplish with a computer back in the mid 80s, and all of the hijinks that would occur afterward. Rob, Dave and the Movie Hound will strap some bras on their heads and look to avoid Chet as they take a look back at the comedy sci-fi classic. We’ll confront bullies, have some great adventures, throw an ultimate party and learn some life lessons from our mentor Lisa, as we power up the VCR to get down with some Weird Science.
