She's All That
Ugly duckling or beautiful swan? We find out with this look back at She's All That - a late 90s teen romcom that paved the way for a slew of similar movies. Carlos has been waiting patiently for his chance to talk about Freddie Prinze Jr. on this podcast, so we went straight to the quintessential entry on his list of films from this era. Topics include: the stage play this is based on and other notable interpretations of that work, how this script changed once the lead actors were cast, why the first twenty minutes feel so different from the rest of the film, the story behind that random choreographed dance number, the arguably even more random final act, and much more!
