Here's who I'm giving REAL dating advice for men to in this episode:- A guy wondering if it's a good idea to hand a girl a love letter like he's in grade 5.- A guy who wants to break up with an incredible girl because he's not into her "romantically."- A guy beating himself up because a girl at work told him she has a boyfriend.- A guy who doesn't want to be treated like a walking ATM despite acting like one with the girl he's dating.Subscribe for more Reddit dating stories, dating advice for men, and dating tips.Message me or support the show: https://linktr.ee/roycalvinDating lessons from this episode:Do not give a girl a note if you can just talk to her. If you see the same girl every week and want to meet her, go up and start a real conversation. A face-to-face approach is stronger, less strange, and more effective than handing her a written message as she walks by.Compliment her style in person instead of hiding behind a note. If her outfits are what caught your attention, use that as the opener. Tell her you like her style, have a short conversation, get her name, and then ask for her number. If you want to dump a girl who did nothing wrong, just do it cleanly. Breakups hurt, even when the other person is sweet and caring. There is no perfect way to end things without pain, so do not overcomplicate it if you truly do not want her in your life.Do not break up with a good girl before you have another one lined up. If she treats you well, likes you, and is having sex with you, do not throw that away too quickly. Keep her around while you look for someone you actually feel more strongly about.Girls are like jobs: do not quit one before you have another lined up. Being single and sexless for months can happen if you dump a decent girl too early. If the relationship is not terrible, stay practical and avoid creating a dry spell for yourself.Asking out a coworker is not a disaster if she says no. If you ask her to lunch and she says she has a boyfriend, accept it and move on. The situation only becomes awkward if you act awkward afterward.Own the fact that asking her to lunch was asking her on a date. Do not hide behind “it was just lunch” when you were interested in her romantically. You took a shot, she rejected it, and that is still better than never trying. If a woman keeps forgetting her wallet, asking for money, and getting cold when you stop paying, she wants your money. The pattern is obvious: dinners, coffee, trips, rent, car bills, and phone bills all becoming your responsibility means she sees you as a provider, not a boyfriend.Do not train a woman to expect your money from the beginning. If you pay for everything early, give her cash, and cover every “emergency,” you create the dynamic that later makes you feel used. Split early dates and make sure she contributes before the habit forms. If splitting the bill turns her off, that is a good filter. A woman who disappears because she had to pay her share was never worth keeping. Most decent women will be fine contributing, and the ones who are not should remove themselves quickly.
