She's Your Wife, Not Your Best Friend!

She's your wife and that job description is quite enough for any one person. Stop describing your spouse as your best friend.  We all need friends but our spouse is entirely different. Women mostly do have friends. Men are becoming lonelier and lonelier.  With fewer friends, many men are dropping onto their wife's shoulders the burdens of being a friend. Many things are best discussed with a friend, rather than with a wife. Men need to hang out with men, not with mixed gender groups.
