从前某处地方，古墓前面，有一个石人。有一次，有个乡下老妇从街上买了东西回去，经过这里，就在树阴下休息一会。她把买来的饼放在石人头上，临走时，忘记了拿回去。另外有人来看见，以为石人会吃饼，一定是有灵的。他把这话传说出去，愈传愈远，远近的人都知道这石人有灵了。于是大家都准备了香烛，向石人求福，让灾，十分热闹。有一天，前次那个放饼的老妇人，又从这里走过，她把她的故事告诉大家，大家才明白了。（原出抱朴子）
