仕組みが止まった朝、私がしたこと

こんにちは、橋本のりこです。以前、『情報を集めるのは、AIに任せてみた』という記事を書きました。Claude Coworkの定期タスク機能を使って、毎朝、自動で情報を集めてもらう仕組みを作った、というお話でした。今日は、その続きです。あの記事を書いたあと、実は、仕組みを少しずつ調整していきました。もっとバランスよく情報を集めたい。もっと読みやすい形にしたい。そう思って、あれこれ手を加えていくうちに、だんだんと、仕組みそのものが複雑になっていってしまいました。気づけば、思っていたのと違う動き方をすることが、増えてきていたんです。そこで、Claude Codeという機能を使って、仕組みを一から作り直すことにしました。「スキル」という形で、情報収集の手順をきちんと整理し直したんです。作り直した初日は、これまでよりもニュースの量が多く出てしまいました。でも、そこから少しずつ調整して、以前と同じくらいの、ちょうどいい量に戻すことができました。ここ最近は、とても順調に動いていたんです。でも、昨日、思いがけないことが起きました。朝、いつものように配信の準備をしようとしたら、Claude Codeが、一時的に使えなくなっていたんです。焦りました。急いで、ChatGPTとGeminiで代わりに情報を集めようとしました。でも、うまくいきませんでした。何日か前のニュースを、そのまま拾ってきてしまったり。思うように、情報が整理できなかったり。「今日は配信できないかもしれない」そんな不安が、頭をよぎりました。それでも、あれこれ試行錯誤を続けていたところ、ふと確認してみると、Claude Codeが、もう復旧していたんです。調べてみると、Anthropicで、大規模な障害が起きていたようでした。約36分間、認証まわりの不具合で、ログインや応答に支障が出ていたとのことでした。復旧を確認して、結局、いつも通りClaude Codeを使って、配信することができました。この出来事を通して、いくつかのことに気づきました。一つは、仕組みというのは、一度作ったら終わりではなく、少しずつ育てていくものなんだ、ということ。もう一つは、何かあったときのために、代わりの手段を持っておくことの大切さ。昨日は、その代用手段さえ、うまく機能しませんでしたが、それでも、「これがダメなら、あれを試してみよう」と動けたこと自体が、安心材料になっていました。そしてもう一つ。AIも、私と同じように、調子が悪い日があるんだな、という、ちょっと不思議な実感です。いつも頼りにしている存在にも、不調の朝がある。それを知っただけで、なんだか、少し親しみが湧きました。完璧な仕組みを、一度で作り上げようとしなくていい。うまくいかない日があっても、それは失敗ではなく、育てていく過程の一部。そんなふうに思えるようになったのも、昨日の出来事のおかげかもしれません。これからも、仕組みを少しずつ調整しながら、朝のニュース配信を続けていきたいと思います。English SummaryEarlier, I wrote a post called I Left the Information Gathering to AI, about using Claude Cowork’s scheduled task feature to automatically gather news for me every morning. Lately, it had been running smoothly.Then, yesterday, something unexpected happened. When I sat down to prepare the morning broadcast, Claude Code was temporarily unavailable. I panicked and quickly tried switching to ChatGPT and Gemini instead — but it didn’t go well. They kept pulling in news from days earlier, and I couldn’t get things organized the way I needed. For a moment, I genuinely worried I might not be able to publish that day.Still, I kept trying different things, and when I checked again, Claude Code was already back up. It turned out Anthropic had experienced a major outage — about 36 minutes of authentication issues affecting login and response. Once it recovered, I was able to publish as usual, through Claude Code.A few things stayed with me from this. A system isn’t something you build once and leave — it’s something you keep tending to, little by little. Having a backup plan matters, even when that backup doesn’t work perfectly either; just being able to think “if this doesn’t work, I’ll try that” was its own kind of reassurance. And AI, it turns out, has off days too, just like I do. Somehow, knowing that made it feel a little more familiar.You don’t have to get a system perfect on the first try.
