Welcome to my final guest interview of 2020!!  Wrapping it up with with this candid interview with Mike Murdoch! He shares how he stays spiritually fit as a chef and yoga teacher, and how he traversed his journey with food and an eating disorder to creating his successful Move Nourish Heal programs. Amelia Andaleon, Spiritually Fit Yoga About Mike Murdoch: With a passion for all things nourishing and a drive to innovate, Mike’s career in the food service industry has spanned two decades. Cordon Bleu trained with a Grande Diplome in Cuisine and Pastry, Mike has worked in all areas of the industry from fine dining to corporate. After years in the grocery sector as Chef and recipe developer to several of Canada’s largest food retailers, his focus shifted to health and wellness. Having been extremely overweight as a child, (240lbs at 13 years old) shifting diet and lifestyle had a profound impact on his own health and wellbeing. After being introduced to yoga in 2014, the practice allowed him to cultivate inner calmness and self-acceptance. Now a certified ERYT-500 Tier One Certified Baptiste yoga instructor and Culinary Nutrition Expert; he aims to help others find their own path towards optimal health and environmental sustainability.  His Move, Nourish, Heal programs focus on mindful movement and plant-based nourishment to heal body and soul.
