One of the warnings the airlines always give is to use caution when opening the bins because the bags may have shifted in flight. Life is like an airplane journey. In the course of our living we go through and experience things that change our perspective and impact us in ways we can scarcely explain. When we return to our familiar settings, they no longer feel the same. That’s because we are no longer the same. Whether we are better or worse is open to interpretation. The facts remain that we are different. Rather than trying to pretend nothing has changed, it’s best to acknowledge the changes and move forward.
