SHIFTHEADS: Have you Been…? Banff, Whale Watching & the Bay of Fundy

At Sunshine Village in Banff, you can get on a chairlift in Alberta and get off in British Columbia, then ski your way back across the line. Shane Hewitt and Ryan O'Donnell use that as the jumping-off point for a wider tour of Canadian places worth adding to the list.   From there it's the Bay of Fundy, where the tides move at a scale that's genuinely hard to picture and once inspired an artist to paint a mural timed to vanish and reappear with the water. A whale watching trip off Victoria Harbour rounds things out, complete with a nickname for one species that has everything to do with its breath.   None of these places need an introduction if you already know them.
