Shin Godzilla

Written and directed by Anime legend Hideaki Anno along with Shinji Higuchi (Co-Director), Shin Godzilla is a loving reimagining of the worlds most famous kaiju. Also, one of if not the most exciting movie about bureaucracy ever made. A movie that treats it's layered subject matter with the gravity and respect it deserves but never forgets what we all come here for. A giant, radioactive, city destroying monster with lasers on his it's back, FUCK YES! Its a truly compelling successor to the original (1954's Gojira) and an out and out love letter to Tokusatsu film making in general. Enjoy the show. " What other Toho Kaiju would you like to see reimagined in a similar way?" I'm going to go with "ALL OF THEM!" but tell me what you think in the comments and through email ([email protected]). While you're there, feel free to suggest any movies you like to hear us cover on the show in the future.
