Shining a spotlight on Australia's unabated defence spending (REPEAT)

This episode of the Radioactive Show is a repeat of a show that originally went to air in August 2020. It was produced by Emma Crunch and features interviews with two organisers for peace, Annette Brownlie of the Independent and Peaceful Australia Network (IPAN), and Margie Beavis from the Medical Association for the Prevention of War (MAPW). Annette speaks about RIMPAC 2020, which is the Rim of the Pacific military exercises, currently being held in Hawaiian waters. She also introduces us to the IPAN inquiry. Margie critiques Australia’s increased defence spending, exploring why it remains unchallenged.
