When Pat Phelps (Courtney Cox) begins experiencing odd hallucinations and eliciting strange behaviors no one seems willing to accept her panic as anything other than a mid-life crisis. Pitched as a comedic take on "The Shining," the first two episodes provide a somewhat unique tonal balance of horror-comedy that show creators Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan worked hard to achieve.
