Ships

Steph Something - Composition, Lyrics, Melody, Vocals, Guitar Alex Bevacqua - Drums, Bass, Production The greatest communicator When you want to be around Notes in the refrigerator Running, running, running, running down The stairs You burst through the door and say You've been stuck in here too many days now You said, get up You said, get up We are going out Right now I said you look like a diamond And you went and put my face all over the place I ask questions in threes Sometimes you sleep beneath the trees You're really good at getting lost When you don't want to be found But you'll come back And one time you did You smelled like shit And I laughed so hard I cried While you explained why And I didn't care, I just remember Being so fucking happy To see you I said you look like a diamond And you went and put my face all over the goddamn place I ask questions in threes Sometimes you sleep beneath the trees Always scheming spaceman with a grin Always scheming spaceman with a tin rocket ship And I'll have an ocean of cardboard cutout waves In the backyard Because sailors and spacemen They have to have their ships And I really like Seeing you © Stephanie Gilliard
