Many of us are not aware that 1 in 5 children live in poverty.  One telling sign of this poverty is a kid's shoes.  So many kids are teased and ridiculed just because of their worn out shoes. Hand me downs might provide a larger pair of shoes but it can't boost a kids morale and sense of self-worth like a brand new pair of athletic shoes.  That's where Shoes That Fit comes in. They partner with local schools and chapters to provide brand new shoes to kids in need.
