It looked like a good night to be a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Shohei Ohtani pitched really well for six innings, Ryan Ward hit his first career grand slam, and the Dodgers carried a 6-1 lead into the seventh. But Ohtani ran out of gas a little bit on the mound, and then Kyle Hurt and Jack Dreyer really made a mess of things in the eighth inning, and LA dropped game two of their series in Pittsburgh by a score of 9-8 (despite a two-run homer from Ohtani in the ninth inning).
